Impulse & Direction – Conscious Movement Retreat in the heart of Monferrato
A weekend of reconnection, exploration, and presence through the body and movement
Join us for a somatic movement retreat surrounded by the natural beauty of Monferrato. Take a break from the everyday routine, slow down, and recharge your energy. Over two days, we’ll explore body awareness, coordination, play, and somatic practices that reconnect you to yourself through mindful movement.
A holistic experience through body, nature, and landscape
From Saturday morning to Sunday evening, we’ll meet at Ca’ Poggio, a beautiful countryside B&B with a bright wooden-floor studio and stunning views over the rolling hills of Piedmont (UNESCO heritage area). We’ll move between gentle awareness practices, dynamic floorwork, and playful partner work—always grounded in presence and embodied learning.
You’ll rediscover movement as a source of vitality and creativity, while engaging with your body, the floor, space, and others in new, enriching ways.
Who is this retreat for?
This experience is open to everyone—no previous experience is needed. Whether you're simply curious, longing for a refreshing break, or interested in reconnecting with your body in a conscious and authentic way, this weekend is for you. All practices are guided progressively and adapted to meet each participant’s experience and level of comfort.
What we’ll do
Throughout the weekend, we’ll balance stillness and dynamic exploration to engage both body and mind:
-
Somatic Floor Explorations (Feldenkrais-inspired) – to refine inner listening, enhance coordination, and improve movement quality.
-
Floorwork – to discover new ways of relating to the ground and moving from center to periphery (and back).
-
Coordination sequences – to rewire movement patterns and stimulate the nervous system through unusual challenges.
-
Mobility, Strength & Warm-up Routines – to energize the body with intelligent, varied, and playful movement.
-
Partner Work & Games – to explore communication, trust, and creativity through movement—while never forgetting the joy of learning like a child!
Each session is designed to be accessible, safe, and engaging—no stress, no pressure.
