Feldenkrais Teacher, Movement Practitioner, and Conscious Movement Facilitator

I teach Awareness Through Movement (ATM) classes, practice Ido Portal’s Movement, and facilitate conscious movement sessions. My life journey has led me to explore the deep connection between movement, self-knowledge, and the integration of body and mind.

My Journey in Movement

Born and raised in Genoa, I studied accounting but never felt aligned with traditional academic learning. From childhood, I practiced sports such as soccer, swimming, volleyball, and handball, but never settled into one specific role.
After school, I began working as a pizza maker—a job that allowed me to travel and experience new cultures, opening my mind to new ways of living and thinking.

Travels and Self-Discovery

A wrist injury requiring surgery marked the start of a long inner and outer journey. After my recovery, I left Italy to explore the world—and myself. I lived in Spain (where I learned Spanish), then moved to Australia and New Zealand (where I improved my English), followed by extensive travels in Southeast Asia.
Another injury brought me temporarily back to Italy, but soon after, I resumed my travels in Latin America, where I developed a strong bond with nature and the philosophy of Pachamama.

Discovering Movement

In Brazil, while practicing Capoeira, I first understood the importance of body awareness. Until then, I viewed the body simply as a vehicle bound to decline with age. Seeing my Capoeira teacher—who, at 56, moved with fluidity and ease—changed my perspective and opened me to the potential of movement.

A Passion for Movement

In 2018, in Puerto Escondido (Mexico), I discovered Ido Portal’s Movement Culture through the teachings of Jonathan and Mariana Fletcher. It felt like I had finally found the organic learning method I had always been seeking. I trained intensively, attending two Movement Camps and a European Movement Meeting, and followed online coaching with Ido’s team for two years.
In 2020, I began teaching Movement at Movement Mexico, dedicating myself to teaching and deepening my personal practice.

Feldenkrais: A Conscious Approach

Back in Italy, I searched for a practice that could help me deal with chronic pain and support my self-awareness journey. That’s when I found the Feldenkrais Method, a technique I had heard of from Ido Portal.

After my first Functional Integration session, I knew I had found a powerful tool for inner exploration.
I enrolled in the “Milano-Levico 7 International” Feldenkrais professional training course while continuing to teach Movement in Genoa through classes and workshops.

The Feldenkrais Path: A Map to the Self

During the first 27-day immersion of the training, I realized how Feldenkrais is a kind of “luxury”—a rare opportunity to deeply explore yourself and reconnect with your body. This method offers valuable tools for everyone, regardless of professional goals.

In January 2025, I became a certified Awareness Through Movement (ATM) teacher and, together with Agnese, co-founded the Movement Searcher project to share our knowledge of movement and personal growth.

Looking Ahead: One Step at a Time

My journey continues, one step at a time. I keep expanding my practice and helping others discover how conscious movement can improve everyday life, bringing more awareness, vitality, and freedom.
