Movement Conditioning

Movement Conditioning Classes

60 minutes to expand strength, mobility, and movement intelligence

Movement Conditioning is the more dynamic and intense version of our Movement Searcher practices. It is a natural extension of our standard Movement classes, designed for those who want to move more, increase functional strength, improve mobility, train spatial orientation, and develop genuine motor intelligence.

These 60-minute sessions combine strength work, coordination, mobility and problem-solving, while maintaining the quality of listening, presence, and awareness that defines all our practices.

Why Movement Conditioning?

More strength, more elasticity, more movement options. Movement Conditioning is built on the principle that the body learns by observing, imitating, and exploring - just like children do. Through mirror-neuron activation, variation of tasks, and continuous dialogue between perception and action, these classes help you:

  • build functional strength without creating rigidity
  • develop tissue elasticity and adaptability
  • improve balance and spatial orientation through vestibular stimulation
  • move with fluidity while changing direction, level, and rhythm
  • build mobility that doesn’t push or strain but creates space
  • expand coordination and create new connections and ways of thinking
  • awaken motor creativity, play, and problem-solving

This is not repetitive training. It is intelligent, varied practice that educates the nervous system to choose between options.

What to Expect in a Class

  1. Warm-up - To give the nervous system time to arrive, orient, listen, perceive, and prepare for more dynamic movement.
  2. Functional strength, mobility, and elastic work - Sequences that build abilities instead of isolated exercises with no context. Mobility arises from quality of movement, not from force or discomfort.
  3. Orientation, Equilibre and Direction Changes - Rotations, directional changes, weight shifts, and relationships with gravity. Key for developing balance, stability, and responsiveness.
  4. Imitation and organic learning - Just like children: you observe, try, change, repeat. The body learns through watching and reproducing, quickly creating new motor maps.
  5. Coordination, rhythm and play - Practices that engage different body segments, disrupt habitual strategies, build new connections, and train adaptability and attention.
  6. Release - To unwind tension and return to a deeper sense of internal perception.

Who Are Classes For?

Movement Conditioning is the perfect extension of the practice developed in our regular Movement classes: it works with the same principles but in a more dynamic and fast-paced way. Our Movement Conditioning classes are open to everyone, complete beginners included.

They are ideal for:

  • those who already practice Movement and want a more dynamic version
  • those seeking more strength, mobility, and movement variability
  • those who want to train in a way that respects the nervous system, the body’s structure, and natural learning processes
  • those curious about how the body can learn quickly through imitation, perception, and play
  • those wanting to improve responsiveness, orientation, agility and coordination

No previous experience is required. What matters is willingness, curiosity, and the desire to improve the quality of your movement.

Why It Works

Movement is the language of our nervous system. Movement Conditioning is designed to develop the dynamics through which we naturally learn:

  • observation, imitation and reinterpretation (mirror neurons)
  • attention and orientation
  • variation and gradual increase in complexity
  • structural organization and weight distribution
  • relationship with gravity and support
  • problem-solving and adaptive strategies

This practice does not only train muscles. It trains your ability to think through your body, to respond to unexpected demands, and to move with intelligence, precision, and creativity.
