I am a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, Conscious Movement Facilitator, and student of Ido Portal's Movement Culture. My journey—both personal and professional—is deeply rooted in movement as a path to self-awareness, connection with nature, and holistic wellbeing.
A Lifelong Passion for Movement and Nature
Since childhood, I have been drawn to exploring the body’s natural and authentic ability to move. Growing up in Milan, I first encountered movement through a local circus school, where I discovered acrobatics and other physical disciplines. This experience sparked a deep curiosity about movement as a form of personal expression.
Later, relocating to a small village in the Piedmont countryside allowed me to strengthen my connection to nature and animals, deepening the bond between movement and the natural world.
During my teenage years, I practiced various sports including running, cycling, horse riding, and pallapugno leggera—a traditional Italian ball game—developing a versatile foundation in physical activity.
Academic Background and Cross-Cultural Experience
I hold a degree in Cultural and Linguistic Mediation from Milan, completed an Erasmus exchange in Spain, and earned a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting in the United Kingdom. These experiences allowed me to immerse myself in diverse cultures and languages. My curiosity led me to further explore and travel through Central America and parts of Asia, enriching both my worldview and personal growth.
The Feldenkrais Method: Movement as Awareness
The Feldenkrais Method has played a central role in my development. Raised in a family of practitioners, I began practicing in 2011 as a way to explore self-awareness through conscious movement. Since then, it has become a powerful tool for deepening bodily awareness and unlocking human potential.
In January 2023, I completed the “Milano-Levico 6” professional training program and became a certified Feldenkrais teacher. I currently manage FELDENKRAIS Movimento e Funzione S.r.l., coordinating two professional training courses where I also work as a consecutive interpreter. Additionally, I participate as a Mentor in Feldenkrais® trainings and workshops.
Ido Portal's Movement Culture: Expanding My Practice
In 2024, I discovered Ido Portal’s Movement Culture, which brought a transformative new dimension to my approach. This practice introduced me to disciplines such as soft acrobatics, floorwork, locomotion, organic strength, and handstands. It allowed me to integrate the mindful body awareness developed through Feldenkrais with dynamic new challenges—both physical and mental—further enriching my journey of self-discovery.
